Metallurgical Fire Before Archspire, there was a band doing something similar in a less forced way (Archspire’s 2014 album is my favorite one). Just my opinion. A Perfect Absolution will always be one of the best technical death metal albums. Fun and fast.

E.J. Hennie elite technical death metal that isn't afraid to experiment, but not in a jarring way. Great production as expected Favorite track: Elements and Spirit.

The Metal Spotlight This album is a metal masterpiece. Gorod are the only band in the tech-death genre that is able to match insane complexity of the highest level and pure skill with totally catchy and memorable song writing. No one really sounds like these guys and they just keep getting better. This is heavy and intense but extremely fun, epic and enjoyable. I highly recommend this album and really anything else from these guys. Gorod rules!!!! Favorite track: Elements and Spirit.

"A Perfect Absolution" (2012) is regarded as the band's masterpiece to this day showing GOROD at the top of their game. Insane super speed guitar leaks wrap up this barbaric yet very controlled assault of technical metal mayhem. The album was voted as French band album of the year, and GOROD savagely rampaged Europe for months, headlined in North America and even had a quick trip to Indonesia to play at the famous Hammersonic festival.
