youareme888 This album is absolutely killer. Pure brutality from start to finish. Easily in my top 5 metal releases of the year. I can't wait to hear more and see you guys again. Favorite track: Coffin Crescendo.

ntngps Holy crap. I haven't been blown away by a metal record like this in years. Every track is relentlessly brutal in its own special way. Favorite track: Black Flame Illumination.

dyingxfetus420 Talk about good technical death metal. In my opinion, this album blows away every other technical death metal album released this year. A perfect blend of nasty technical riffing, chugilicious goodness, powerful vocals and tremendous drumming. Any song on this album could easily have been my favorite. It was NOT an easy choice, but in the end, I think Maggots Ascension rises above the others. Favorite track: Maggots Ascension.

about

Formed in 2011 and hailing from Sacramento California, Alterbeast released their first record, Immortal in 2014 on Unique Leader Records. After numerous face melting shows they are back with their sophomore effort and best album to date, Feast! Blending new and old, brutal and melodic, Alterbeast have managed to craft a genuine record that grabs the listener from beginning to end. With vocals by Michael Alvarez, guitars and bass by Andrew Lamb, and drums performed by Alex Bent. It’s easy to see (and hear) why Feast will be on everyone’s Album of the Year List for 2018.
